Meeting Minutes by Jim Humphrey - Secretary

These are the minutes of the Northshore NEMBA Chapter meeting held Sunday, August 13th, at Fred White's in Rockport.

 
Attendees: Sandy Bray, Ron Corporon, Joe Dizazzo, Jim Humphrey, Frank Lane, Scott Merloni, Dan Streeter, Fred White 

Trail Works Days update - Dan Streeter
- Dan has scheduled a trail day on 9/17 at The Trustees of Reservations Ward Hill property in North Andover (see http://www.nsnemba.org/TrailWork.htm)
- Dan has scheduled a trail day for 10/14 after the logging is done at Harold Parker, as it has affected some of the trails there near Rte.114. Goal is to reroute away from mud at the trop of the middle trail.

Treasurer's Report - Ron Corporon
- Ron reported about a $4700 balance.

Wicked Ride - Sandy Bray
- Some ideas for the wicked ride were:
   - maybe add the new extension of the Terry Trail and the "School Daze" trail to the intermediate trails? Would need to re-do the map.
   - maybe have a "re-fueling station" (place to get something to eat) so that riders don't have to go all the way back to Berry Pond?
- Sandy will talk to Philip about other needs, including verifying the charity that would receive proceeds from the ticket sales (in the past, these have gone to the North Shore's trail work fund).

Board of Directors meeting - Nov 6th - Dan Streeter
- There will be a BOD meeting Nov 6th after a ride at Harold Parker.
- Dan is looking for a meeting space for about 30 people in the HP vicinity (North Reading, Andover/N. Andover) - any suggestions please let him know.
