North Shore NEMBA June 18, 2009 Meeting Minutes

Held at Dave McCrimmon’s house in Andover, MA

Attendees: Steve Charrette, Kirk Goldsworthy, Lee Hollenbeck, Hank Kells, Frank Lane, Dave McCrimmon, Scott Merloni and Greg Nichols

 

1) Jim Humphrey resigned as secretary, Hank Kells is the new secretary.

 

2) Treasurer’s Report: The account balance is $6457.00.

 

3) The donation for the restoration of a stone tower at Lynn Woods that was discussed at the last meeting has not been made.

 

4) No trail report: Dan was absent. 

 

5) Wicked Ride (Steve and Dave are Wicked Ride co-chairmen)

 

a) T-Shirts: Lee will send the T-shirt logo approved at the last meeting to Steve.

b) An orange / black Halloween color scheme and printing “10th Anniversary Wicked Ride” and the date of the ride on the shirts was suggested.   

c) Lee will cook chili again.  Jaime from Harpoon may do BBQ for charity.

d) More volunteers are needed.  Volunteers should plan to spend more time      working the event and less time riding. 

e) Having led rides was suggested.  Ride leaders and sweepers will be needed.

f) Steve suggested having a bike/parts swap. 

 

6) Frank is leading the Mon. night beginner rides in Fred’s absence.

 

7) Steve will open a NSNEMBA Facebook account. 

 

8) The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of Aug. 22-23 at Fred White’s house.
